I discovered my passion for dogs by working at a local dog training facility as the office staff. I would peek in every chance I got to watch the trainers working with clients and their dogs. Witnessing the transformation and the bonding right before my eyes was just an amazing thing, then and there I knew that is what I want to do in this lifetime.
I believe in a balanced training program with positive reinforcements.I strive to help clients better understand exactly what their dog is thinking and saying to them!
I have completed the Certified Canine Training & Behavior Specialist (C.C.T.B.S) as well as Certified Service & Therapy Dog Training Professional (C.S.T.D.T.P) program with Animal Behavior.
I can always remember the love of dogs. I would bring home stray dogs and beg my parents to keep them and most of the time my wish came true. I have always dreamed of having my own dog business or some type of animal business. I didn’t really know how I would accomplish that dream but fast forward 20 + years and my dream is coming true, with a lot of hard work, determination and patience and not rushing. I am super excited and happy to announce the opening of Alpha Leader K9 Training.
I completed my Certification in Canine Training & Behavior Specialist (C.C.T.B.S) at the Animal Behavior Institute. My goal is to use positive reinforcements for dog training in a fun, relaxed and enjoyable environment. I have trained several Therapy Dogs and just completed training my nieces Service Dog, she has CP. I have been involved in training my own dogs for the last 7 years from basic obedience to therapy training. I am currently training my own dogs to Dock Dive and Scent Work so they will be the ambassadors for our programs at our center.
I have been married for 29 years with 3 children and 2 grands. They are my reason to keep pushing every day. I have over 20 years of customer service training and have been involved in a non profit organization that I started in Arkansas.
I am 17 years old and I am a senior in high school, and I work at the best dog training facility, Alpha Leader K9 Training! I love working for ALT because I love seeing clients and their K9’s improve and learn new things. Training dogs has always been something i’ve wanted to do since i was little. Taking on a new K9 and their flaws is a challenge but it is worth seeing the results and that is one of the best parts of being a trainer.
I would like to be a full-time dog trainer myself in the future. It brings me joy getting to see and help clients with their K9’s live their best lives together.
I’m a passionate dog trainer and educator at the award-winning Alpha Leader K9 Training. I have always had a love of animals growing up, with my first love being a beagle pup named Cricket. I fell in love with dog training while training a service pup for my child at ALT, it was an atmosphere unlike anything I had ever been a part of, filled with educators who were passionate about pups and innovative ideas in dog training.
Adrianna and Edith made everyone always feel so welcomed and created this little oasis of like-minded individuals with the goal of giving their pups the best life. This lead to a world of seeing the interactions and inspiring changes happen between pup and humans, which ignited my passion in training pups and educating humans alike. It continues to be such an amazing journey here at ALT, being able to bring joy into the lives of each family and beloved canine I’ve gotten to work with.
Seeing canines come in from every age and every issue on day one to watching them excel and change into healthier and happier pups is one of the best feelings and rewarding parts of being on the ALT team. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and continuing my journey of growth here at ALT, in helping families and their beloved canines have the best lives possible.
